Established in 1990, the Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum (CWJF) Founding Members Scholarship Program awarded its first $1,000 scholarship in May of that year. Since then, CWJF has awarded more than $1,275,000 in scholarships to deserving young women across six area school districts. Eligible applicants include high school seniors attending schools in the Conroe, Klein, Magnolia, Spring, and Tomball Independent School Districts, as well as seniors from Cypress Creek, Cypress Woods, Cypress Fairbanks, and Jersey Village High Schools in the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, CWJF will award 33 Endowed Scholarships and an estimated 20–30 Current Year Scholarships. Scholarship applications are available online through this website and in high school counseling offices beginning in October, with submissions due in mid-January.
Following the application period, all qualified applicants are interviewed by a panel of CWJF members. Each application is scored based on community service, academic performance, and financial need. Selected recipients are honored with a certificate at their high school’s Graduation Awards Ceremony. Scholarship funds are then paid directly to each recipient’s chosen university in June and are applied to the fall semester of the student’s first year.
