In 1985, Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum introduced Petticoats, Parasols & Paraphernalia - A Woman’s Walk in History Through Fashion from the Victorian days through the 1970’s, as a fundraiser for Goodwill Industries. Petticoats was retired in 1995, and in June, 2001 many of the costumes from the fashion show were damaged as a result of flooding brought on by Tropical Storm Allison. Through the generosity of its members, CWJF was able to restore many of the costumes, provide additional outfits and revive the show for its 2nd spectacular run.
